Took less than a minute to change calibers. Slide is very smooth like it’s always been thereand broke in feel. The suppressor height sights look good and co-witness with no issues. I opened the box found no documentation on Torque specs on slide screws and plates done more inspections on new slide kit found the barrel had some scratches at the crown kinda look like it been dropped, I was kinda disappointed on the care of packaging but anyways, I took the new slide kit to the range and it was on point, awesome upgrade for this product. Hopefully there is enough feedback by others to show that these kits would sell.Īwesome upgrade to your existing upgrade from your stock and old look. I would like to see the kits become available for my XD45 and XD9 subcompact in 2023. I am an avid Springfield collector and hope that the Springfield team, has found these kits, to be a viable product for their other models. As I am getting older, the addition of a dot sight has really helped my accuracy. Just as I was about to try one of these add on plate systems, the OSP kits from Springfield became available.

I was contemplating getting an add on red dot sight plate that fits in the rear sight slot, thinking that it seemed a little bulky and not quite the professional look that I wanted. Living in California, these kits are a dream come true. I've only had about 100rds through the kit but I haven't had a malfunction yet(extended mags and standard length used). its my first red dot on a pistol but it feels fragile. Springfield PH9117AOSD Prodigy 1911 9mm Pistol, Springfield Hex Dragonfly Reflex Red Dot Sight, 4.25 Match SS Barrel, 1-17 + 1- 20 Rd Mag, Ambi Safety, Grip Safety, Fiber Optic Sight. Only 4 stars for the red dot being plastic. 357 sig XD and only required the purchase of 9mm magazines to complete. Not to happy about that!Ī must have for all xd owners. Nowhere on Springfield site did they mention that. This new slide and optic look real nice but due to the taller front sight, it seems like you will need to shell out more dough for a holster that will accept the front sight. However, I can confirm that I used my 40 caliber magazines to load and shoot 9MM with zero, and I mean zero issues. Also, the website indicates that you need new magazines when converting from a 40 caliber. I would recommend this product to any owner of an older XD 9 or XD 40. I also like that the conversion is to 9MM. As a consequence, my now 10 year old XD 40 feels like a modern mini race gun with the enhanced trigger kit from Springfield. Then, I purchased a plate to slap on a Shield pattern red dot. I bought the OSP slide kit with the slide and barrel assembly. this is something that i would totally love to purchase if that is available So i see that you guys made the slide assembly for the XD but what i don't see is for the xd 3 CONCIEL to carry? can you please advise.
